Itinerary

<span>Day 1</span> Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho (Tien Giang) - Can Tho

  • Morning: Pick up at your hotel and depart for a three-day trip to the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. Arrive in My Tho (Tien Giang), proceed to visit:
    • Vinh Trang Pagoda: The largest Buddhist temple in Tien Giang province, recognized as a national historical and cultural relic in 1984 and bearing a combination of European-Asian architecture.
  • Take a leisurely boat ride on Tien River:
    • 04 spectacular islets: Dragon (Long), Unicorn (Lân), Tortoise (Qui), Phoenix (Phụng).
    • Fruit plantations, accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.
    • Famous local coconut candy facility: A culinary specialty and traditional craft imbued with the country's culture.
  • At lunch, enjoy luscious food at the local house and learn how to prepare Vietnamese dishes. Then take a boat ride to Ben Tre:
    • Experience Sampan (Xuồng ba lá) for 15 - 20 minutes (depending on the tide) along peaceful canals to learn more about tropical vegetation: Apple Mangrove, Acanthus Ebracteatus Vahl,…
    • Enjoy “honey kumquat tea” – A gentle sweet and sour drink.
  • Afternoon: Depart for Can Tho.
  • After arriving in Can Tho and having dinner, free to walk around Ninh Kieu wharf and explore Tay Do city’s nightlife.
  • Overnight in the hotel.

<span>Day 2</span> Cai Rang Floating Marking - Tra Su Cajuput - Chau Doc

Early in the morning: Depart for Cai Rang floating markets – The liveliest activities in the Nine Dragon River, learn about the local culture of trading on the river.

Have breakfast in the hotel and checkout.

Proceed to visit:

  • Traditional noodle village, enjoy the famous "Hu tieu pizza" by artisan Sau Tam
  • The orchard and fruit plantation

After lunch, depart for Chau Doc City (An Giang province).
Proceed to Tra Su Cajuput Forest Ecological Park to:

  • Experience “Tac rang” - a Vietnamese type of motorboat into the forest, and admire the beauty of the lotus, water lilies and the diversity of the wetland ecosystem
  • Take a rowing boat into Bird field to spectate numerous types of birds: teals, mallards, storks, purple swamphens,...
  • Get up to the watchtower to observe the immense Cajuput Forest and famous monuments nearby: Forbidden Mountain (Thien Cam Son), Ten Thousand Buddha Temple (Van Linh Tu),...

Have dinner and overnight in Chau Doc city.

<span>Day 3</span> Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh City

Morning: Have breakfast in the hotel and checkout. Take a ferry to visit:

  • The most famous catfish farming village in Vietnam
  • Unique Cham village in Da Phuoc commune – an Islam community, and discover the traditional weaving technique

After lunch, depart for Ho Chi Minh City.
